It's amazing how much progress can be made in a little over a week! You can finally start to envision where the four bedrooms, bathroom, and stairwell will be in this home addition. Eric takes you through our plans to finish the roof next week, what we've done so far, and what you can expect moving forward!

Hey guys, how are you doing? Welcome back! We're at the Stahl house. It's still frame in here. The goal this week was to get under roof - unfortunately we missed that by a day or two - the roof rafters were 20 feet long 2x10s, super heavy, super tall. We got a seven pitch up here so it's pretty steep, it's still considered walkable. We laid the plywood today so we've all been working really hard to get that done. It's just been a hectic week but everything's looking good. The weather's been in our favor. On Monday when we come back we just have to finish building the gable walls right here so that'll get studs up to the roof and plywood on the outside, same thing on the other side, and then the roofers will be here on Tuesday to install the shingles. We'll be in here starting Monday and Tuesday to build all the inside walls and partitions. Again we got four bedrooms, 1, 2, 3, 4 - bathroom up front and the stairwell is right here so at some point next week we'll be getting down below to that bedroom, remove the ceiling, and measure up for the staircase. Things are progressing - I'm very happy with the progress and we'll see what next week brings! We'll see you then, have a great weekend!
